Wayne General Hospital’s non-profit hospital foundation is designed to raise funds and resources to ensure that our hospital can provide the highest quality of medical care with state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge services. 100% of the money raised by Wayne General Hospital Foundation remains with the community hospital for which it was raised. The Foundation conducts fundraisers throughout Wayne County and welcomes corporate and individual donations. We have different programs and giving levels as well as an easy employee payroll deduction and estate bequests.

Making the Difference in Healthcare
Our Guardian Angel Award
This award is given by individual donations to our staff. This is an award that is given to a staff member of Wayne General Hospital that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence brought to their patients every day. It is an award for making a profound difference in the lives of their patients and patient families. The honoree will receive a certificate, recognition on our social media platforms, and a hospital cafeteria lunch voucher commending her or him for being an “Extraordinary Employee.” It is in recognition of them knowing that their work is highly valued and appreciated. This is a way to show an employee thank you for going above and beyond their duties. If you would like to nominate an employee that you feel is deserving of being a Guardian Angel, please call 601-735-5151 or you may fill out the nomination form below. You will then be notified of how to make this nomination. You can nominate a staff member to be your Guardian Angel by donating $25 to the Wayne General Hospital Foundation.
