Allison Akridge, D.O.
Family Medicine and Obstetrics
Dr. Allison Akridge is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with specialized training in women’s health and obstetrics. A native of Tibbie, Alabama, she is proud to serve the community alongside her husband, Derrick, and their family.
Dr. Akridge earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of West Alabama and completed her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at VCOM Auburn. She went on to complete a Family Medicine Residency and Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages in both clinical and hospital settings. Dr. Akridge offers a wide range of services, including obstetric care, contraception options (such as IUD placement), pediatric care, wellness exams, preventive health screenings, mental health services, joint injections, dermatologic procedures, and management of acute and chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes.
Passionate about rural healthcare, Dr. Akridge is committed to improving access to prenatal and delivery care in underserved areas. Her mission is to provide continuous, personalized care throughout every stage of life, helping patients feel supported and empowered in their health journeys.

Amy Freeman is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care for patients of all ages. A native of Waynesboro, Mississippi, she is honored to care for her community with compassion, commitment, and clinical excellence.
Amy began her nursing career by earning her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Jones College. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Southern Mississippi, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Alabama.
With over a decade of experience in family medicine, Amy provides comprehensive care with a focus on preventive health, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and treatment of acute illnesses. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and building long-term relationships based on trust and respect.
