Wound Care and Infusion Center
Wayne General provides specialized treatment for chronic, non-healing or difficult to heal wounds. Wounds that have not shown signs of improvement in several weeks or are not responding to typical treatments and need extra help to heal. Typically these difficult wounds of this type are often caused by injury, disease or poor blood supply.
An individualized treatment plan is developed for each patient in order to achieve optimal wound healing. Each wound is unique, and our wound care team includes doctors and nurses with experience in chronic disease management and specialized training in healing chronic wounds that have resisted traditional treatment.
